The Rural Municipality of Sarnia No. 221 (2016 population: 322) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 6 and SARM Division No. 2. It is located in the south-central portion of the province. The RM of Sarnia No. 221 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 13, 1909.[2] The following urban municipalities are surrounded by the RM. With a land area of 863.89 km2 (333.55 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.0/sq mi) in 2021.[8] In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Sarnia No. 221 recorded a population of 322 living in 131 of its 255 total private dwellings, a 21.1% change from its 2011 population of 266.
