Disley incorporated as a village on June 24, 1907.[4] In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Disley had a population of 58 living in 28 of its 31 total private dwellings, a change of -13.4% from its 2016 population of 67. With a land area of 0.65 km2 (0.25 sq mi), it had a population density of 89.2/km2 (231.1/sq mi) in 2021.[7] In the 2016 Census of Population, the Village of Disley recorded a population of 67 living in 28 of its 33 total private dwellings, a -11.9% change from its 2011 population of 75.
