With a land area of 62.93 km2 (24.30 sq mi), it had a population density of 18.4/km2 (47.7/sq mi) in 2021.[7] In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Resort Village of Candle Lake recorded a population of 840 living in 413 of its 1,665 total private dwellings, a 9.8% change from its 2011 population of 765.
