The Rural Municipality of Cote No. 271 (2016 population: 548) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 9 and SARM Division No. 4. The RM of Cote No. 271 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910.[2] The following urban municipalities are surrounded by the RM. The following unincorporated communities are within the RM. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Cote No. 271 had a population of 616 living in 288 of its 493 total private dwellings, a change of 12.4% from its 2016 population of 548. With a land area of 871.02 km2 (336.30 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.7/km2 (1.8/sq mi) in 2021.[8] In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Cote No. 271 recorded a population of 548 living in 245 of its 510 total private dwellings, a -5.5% change from its 2011 population of 580.
