The Rural Municipality of Arborfield No. 456 (2016 population: 343) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 14 and SARM Division No. 4. The RM of Arborfield No. 456 incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913.[2] The following urban municipalities are surrounded by the RM. The following unincorporated communities are within the RM. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Arborfield No. 456 had a population of 338 living in 143 of its 163 total private dwellings, a change of -1.5% from its 2016 population of 343. With a land area of 1,403.77 km2 (542.00 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2021.[7] In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Arborfield No. 456 recorded a population of 343 living in 144 of its 165 total private dwellings, a -24.3% change from its 2011 population of 453. With a land area of 1,416.01 km2 (546.72 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2016.[4] The RM of Arborfield No. 456 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Donald Underhill while its administrator is Andrea Bell.[3] The RM’s office is located in Arborfield.[3] Several highways and an airport service the RM.
