Lacadena No. 228 Saskatchewan Information

The Rural Municipality of Lacadena No. 228 (2016 population: 535) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 8 and SARM Division No. 3. The RM of Lacadena No. 228 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910.[2] The following urban municipalities are surrounded by the RM. The following unincorporated communities are within the RM. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Lacadena No. 228 had a population of 787 living in 290 of its 613 total private dwellings, a change of 47.1% from its 2016 population of 535. With a land area of 1,896.92 km2 (732.40 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.1/sq mi) in 2021.[7] In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Lacadena No. 228 recorded a population of 535 living in 244 of its 553 total private dwellings, a -6.5% change from its 2011 population of 572.
