The Rural Municipality of Kingsley No. 124 (2016 population: 444) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 5 and SARM Division No. 1. It is located in the southeast portion of the province. The RM of Kingsley No. 124 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910.[2] There are three historical properties located within the RM. The following urban municipalities are surrounded by the RM. The following unincorporated communities are within the RM. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Kingsley No. 124 had a population of 396 living in 163 of its 198 total private dwellings, a change of -10.8% from its 2016 population of 444. With a land area of 828.77 km2 (319.99 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km2 (1.2/sq mi) in 2021.[11] In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Kingsley No. 124 recorded a population of 444 living in 179 of its 188 total private dwellings, a 5.5% change from its 2011 population of 421. With a land area of 844.06 km2 (325.89 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km2 (1.4/sq mi) in 2016.[4] The RM of Kingsley No. 124 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Tuesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Gordon Sproat while its administrator is Holly Heikkila.[3] The RM’s office is located in Kipling.[3] Kipling Airport is located within the rural municipality.
