Lyalta Alberta Information

Lyalta is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within Wheatland County.[2] It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of Highway 1, approximately 32 kilometres (20 mi) east of Calgary. In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Lyalta had a population of 480 living in 174 of its 178 total private dwellings, a change of 39.5% from its 2016 population of 344. With a land area of 1.74 km2 (0.67 sq mi), it had a population density of 275.9/km2 (714.5/sq mi) in 2021.[1] As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Lyalta had a population of 28 living in 8 of its 9 total private dwellings, a change of 7.7% from its 2011 population of 26.
