With a land area of 0.42 km2 (0.16 sq mi), it had a population density of 95.2/km2 (246.7/sq mi) in 2021.[1] As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Hilda had a population of 45 living in 19 of its 22 total private dwellings, a change of 21.6% from its 2011 population of 37.
